What Latentown is

A free, visual way to follow the day's AI news. Stories are collected automatically from public sources several times a day and sorted by automatic rules. Every story links to its original source, which remains the authority on what it says.

How stories are chosen and ranked

What happened in a story, how important it is, and where it belongs in town are decided by keyword rules, not by an editor. They will sometimes be wrong. Summaries are either the source's own short description or, where marked, written by Latentown with the help of an AI model. Check the source before relying on any story.

Sponsorship and advertising

• Sponsored places in town, sponsored launches, and sponsor slots in the newsletter are always labelled "Sponsored", "Presented by" or "Sponsored launch".
• Sponsors never choose, rank, or change the news. A sponsored item is never a story, never a Top story, and is not scored.
• Some links on the Tools shelf are affiliate links: if you sign up through them, Latentown may earn a commission, at no cost to you. The shelf says so wherever it appears.

Headlines, short extracts and links belong to their publishers and are shown to point you to their work. If you publish something shown here and want it changed or removed, write to hello@latentown.lol and we will act promptly. The town's design, code and our own summaries are © 2026 Latentown.
