Latentown is an independent project based in Kathmandu, Nepal. Questions about this page: hello@latentown.lol.
The short version: Latentown has no accounts and sets no cookies. What you do in the town stays in your own browser. We do not track you, and we do not collect email addresses or any other personal data.
What stays in your browser
Your settings and choices are kept in your browser's local storage, on your device only. We never receive them. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Counting visits
Latentown counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, does not track you across sites and does not build a profile of you. It records aggregate figures such as pages viewed, the referring site, country and device type, which we use to see how many people visit and which pages they use.
The newsletter
There is no newsletter sign-up at the moment. If one is added, this page will say who holds the addresses and why before any are collected.
Services the page loads
To draw the town, your browser loads code and fonts from these services, which see your IP address as any website you visit does:
- jsDelivr serves three.js, the 3D library (privacy).
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces (privacy).
- Cloudflare hosts the site (privacy).
Links to other sites
Every story links to its original source. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Sponsored links are always labelled; a sponsor link may carry a tag so the sponsor can count visits from Latentown, but it carries nothing about you.

We hold no personal data about visitors. If you have written to us and want your message deleted, write to hello@latentown.lol.
